Kenra Nourishing Masque - $16
Isn't there something lovely and glamorous about calling something a "masque" as opposed to a "mask". It's so sheek. On a realistic note, I would like to start off this review by saying that I did not go out with the intention of purchasing this product. I have never heard of it, or even heard of the brands, and in fact it was a brand representative who was trying to sell me on it and I mostly just bought it to shut him up. Then I fell in love - after. one. use. See my periods there? That's emphasis.
Over the weekend I went to the grand opening of the new Ulta near my house and it's so much larger than any of the other locations near me I ended up browsing for over an hour. I knew that I needed a conditioner and just as always happens when you're browsing without that look of "purpose" a brand or sales representative came up to me and tried to sell me on his brand. It was a decent sized pot and only about $16 so I thought 'what the hell, if it will shut this guy up' and bought it. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised when the morning after using my Kenra Nourishing Masque Deep Condition Treatment (my, that's a mouthful isn't it), I woke up with soft, shiny BEAUTIFUL ends. I say ends because I didn't apply this all over my head. After I had shampooed I applied probably about a half dollar sized amount (yeah, couldn't think of a better way to explain that) to my hair from my ears down. Since I've ombred my hair it's quite damaged and dry and just gets insanely static-y every day.
I let this sit for about five minutes while I went about my showering business and then rinsed it out right before I got out. I ran the blow dryer through my hair and went straight to bed. When I woke up and went to run my fingers through my hair I kid you not, I instantly felt the difference. My hair was so soft and despite the damage of my hair there were NO tangles, this was like a freaking god send for me. After brushing my hair and straightening a few bits I noticed how shiny and healthy it looked. In short, I'm in love with this stuff. It has a lovely salon type scent that doesn't really have a specific smell. It's just one of those scents where you say to yourself, 'hm, she must have just been to the salon.'
If you have dry or damaged hair or suffer from static-y hair like me - TRY THIS. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I'm still trying to decide how often I'd like to use this. I was thinking once a week but it's been two days and I already want to use it again. Maybe twice a week...

I need this in my life! I can't even run a comb through my hair! Love your site design by the way, it's beautiful!
